The Lakehead University Thunderwolves went on a 32-6 run in the third quarter, cruising to an 88-74 win over the University of Manitoba Bisons Friday in Women’s Basketball in Dryden.
Tasia McKenna led the on-onslaught going 5 for 5 from beyond the arc in the second half.
The Exhibition game was played in front of a sell-out crowd at DHS and LU Coach Jon Kreiner says they will be happy to come back on a yearly basis.
This was the second straight year that the Bisons and Wolves met in Dryden.
