Machin Has New Mayor

The Municipality of Machin has a new mayor.
Deputy Mayor Sandra Walkey has taken over the top job following the departure of Arnie Bratland.
A Vermilion Bay business owner, Bratland says operating stores and a restaurant and running the municipality had become too difficult.
Bratland, a former Vermilion Bay reeve, leaves at the mid-point of his three-year term.
