Major Geology Conference in Kenora

About 100 rock hounds from Northwestern Ontario, Manitoba and the U.S. Midwest are in Kenora this week for the 48th annual Lake Superior Geology Conference.
Peter Hinz is one of the conference organizers.
Hinz says for the next four days visitors will go through technical sessions, and a number of field trips.
He says the Kenora area is an ideal location for the conference.
