A new study is out encouraging the Provincial Government to spur
mining activity in Ontario, primarily in Northwestern Ontario.
The Ontario Mining Association is supporting the report stating
Corporations go where they feel welcome, and the Government should be
offering incentives to investors.
The University of Toronto report suggests each new mine would contribute
hundreds of millions of dollars a year to Ontario’s G-D-P.
And it estimates each mine would create about 2,300 high-paying
jobs.
