Major Weapons Bust in Region

A 55-year old man has been released after appearing in court after police found several weapons last week just outside Fort Frances.
Police say Friedholf Nelson faces one charge of possession of a restricted weapon and one count of possessing a prohibited weapon.
OPP seized 61-long guns, a .38 calibre handgun, a tazer, several high-capacity magazines and 10-thousand rounds of ammunition in Alberton.
Nelson will appear in court on June 3rd.
