Striking Canada Safeway employees in Thunder Bay have been given an ultimatum.
Either accept the latest contract offer or stores will close.
About 300-employees who turned out for a meeting yesterday were told a continuing strike would mean closures and job losses.
Company President Chuck Mulvenna says the seven-month strike has cost Safeway about 7.5-million dollars at three stores.
Key issues include part-time work hours and plans to cut jobs in the meat department by using more pre-packaged frozen meat.
Union members are expected to vote on the offer Tuesday.
