Recent government funding for school textbooks has been welcomed by the Rainy-River District School Board.
Director of Education Warren Hoshizaki says they have received 95-thousand dollars for textbooks and so far 34-thousand of that has already been spent.
Hoshizaki says the curriculum has changed right from kindergarten to grade 12, which has caused many of the textbooks used in classrooms to change as well.
