The President of the communications, energy and
paperworkers union is pleased with the Minister of Natural
Resources Report on the forest Industry.
Cec Mmakowski was one of the 17 council members who
drafted the report, and says the government needs to act
quickly and implement many of their reccomendations.

As part of the plan, the Ontario government announced
yesterday it will be guarantee 350 million dollars in loans
for the province’s forest sector.
The money will go towards eliminating problems plaguing
the industry, such as rising costs, and wood supply.
