A Manitoba man has been charged after a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 17 and King Street in Dryden.
A local woman told police that her vehicle was rearended and the other driver had left the scene and she felt he had been drinking.
Police say an investigation revealed the driver of the offending vehicle did stop, but left when told police were called.
Officers tracked down and arrested the accused.
James Smith of Selkirk has been charged and will appear in court June 16th after released on $500 bail.
