Mental Health Leader Position Created for Board

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has created a new position.
The Board is set to hire a Children’s Mental Health Leader.
The successful applicant will support mental health literacy in area school’s as well as work on strategic planning for the future.
The position will also act as a liaison between the Board and other community agencies.
Superintendent Sean Monteith says they hope to have the position filled by the end of this month.
Monteith says they are one of the few boards across the province to get the funding for this new position.
