The English River Miners look to build off the momentum of a dramatic five game victory over Minnesota as they begin their SIJHL Semi-Final with Fort Frances Friday night.
The Lakers host the Miners at 7:30 at the Ice for Kids Arena.
English River didn’t win a game against the league champs this season, but is riding high with three consecutive victories.
Game 2 of the Best-of-7 Series is Sunday as the Miners will host their Awards Banquet Saturday night.
All Miners home games will be played at the Cochenour Arena.
