A tough start to a three game road trip for the Red Lake Miners.
The Miners fell to the Minnesota Iron Rangers 3-2 Thursday night.
Ryan Patterson and Michael Di Lullo scored for Red Lake.
The Miners outshot the Iron Rangers 55-34.
It was the first official win for Minnesota this year as their lone victory came on opening day due to Thief River Falls using an illegal player.
