Another weekend of Minor Hockey Tournaments across the Region.
The Dryden Bruins captured the ‘B’ side title at the Peewee tournament in Vermilion Bay.
The Dryden Holiday Inn Paperkings were involved in a Peewee tournament in Thunder Bay.
They didn’t lose a game to advance to the championship final.
Dryden scored with five seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime, before losing to the VB Bearcats.
In Kenora, the Dryden Snipers lost to the Kenora Destroyers 5-2 in the ‘C’ side Quarter-Final of the Atom tournament.
In Girls play, Dryden lost in the ‘A’ side Final 5-3 in a Peewee tournament in Emo.
