Minor Hockey Teams Enjoy Success

It was a successful weekend for a number of local hockey clubs.
The Dryden Sharks captured the 2007 Peewee Tournament in Dryden.
The Sharks defeated the Thunder Bay Elks Oilers 3-2 (shootout) in the gold medal game.
The ‘B’ side title went to the Dryden Bruins, after a 3-2 win over Fort Frances.
The Dryden Best Western Paper Kings finished third at an Atom
Tournament in Duluth, Minnesota.
The Paper Kings blanked Superior Minnesota 10-0, defeated Burnsville
8-2 and dropped a 4-2 decision to Farmington in a tight semi-final game.
And the Dryden Bruins won the ‘B’ side at the Midget tournament
in Kenora.
