Despite drier conditions across northwestern Ontario, still not much in the way of forest fire activity.
Over the weekend, four new wildfires were reported.
Just one in the Kenora District, it was a 0.4 hectare blaze near Long Lake.
The MNR says that fire has since been extinguished.
In the meantime, Ministry Fire officials says they are concerned with the number of people who have been doing daytime burning.
Daytime burning is not allowed between April 1st and October 31st.
