MNR Says That’s It for Forest Sector

The Minister of Natural Resources is calling Monday’s energy
rebate for pulp and paper mills the announcement to end all announcements.
The $140-million plan excludes strand board and sawmills.
David Ramsay says the 15% energy rebate over 3-years will
dramatically help the ailing industry.
Several forest industry representatives have stated more needs to be
done to help the entire sector in Northern Ontario.
