The options are endless for local high school students wanting to work with the Ministry of Natural Resources.
Applications for the Youth Ranger Program are being accepted until this Friday.
Spokesperson Karen Boultbee says it’s an eight week summer program.
Some of the duties include overnight trips to parks and working with environmental partners and clubs.
Boultbee adds that students will also have the opportunity to earn two co-op credits, and it’s a great learning experience.
Applicants must have been born in 1996, which makes them either 16 or 17 at the time of hire, and they can’t be 18 before December 31st.
