The Invasive Species Centre is recruiting local residents who want to help track pesky critters and plants.
Taylor Wright says if you see any unfamiliar plants they want to know.
Anyone who wants to help can download the app “EDDMaps” which will allow them to submit sightings.
Wright says they are specifically looking at the Giant Hogweed plant which is moving north.
