A major funding announcement will help improve the look of the Dryden downtown core.
Joe Comuzzi, the Minister Responsible for FedNor has announced $500,000 for the Downtown Revitalization project.
Mayor Anne Krassilowsky says the funding support is part of a $6.8 million long term plan.
The money will be spent on new street lights, additional green spaces and installing banners and poles.
The first phase of the project is on the go with work expected to be completed by the end of the month.
