Princess Court in Dryden has received $450,000 to help with a 32 bed expansion
While the Provincial cheque is welcomed, Administrator Kevin Queen says the facility is still facing a large waiting list.
Some beds have been transferred from Kenora but Queen says the Government has to increase the number of long term care beds.
The waiting list in Dryden currently sits at 130 and the facility in Red Lake is also facing a shortage.
