Former Dryden Gunsmith, Bruce Montague was found guilty
on 26 firearms licensing charges.
The jury in his criminal trial rendered its verdict
Thursday afternoon, the 12 member panel found Montague not
guilty on 27 other charges.
Defense lawyer Doug Christie says there are minimum
penalties of a year in jail, for some of the counts
Montague was convicted of.

Montague’s wife, Donna was found guilty on one charge,
relating to the possession of a firearm without a license.
Sentencing will be held in Kenora Court on Monday, March
17th.
