The Federal government says this Summer it has created jobs for over 300 students in the Kenora riding, going up as far north as Fort Severn.
Officials say $900,000 was injected into the Canada Summer Jobs program this year.
That’s up only $70,000 from last year, but according to a government report, only $176,000 was spent by the Conservatives in 2015 to create 79 jobs.
Popular jobs this year are in business, health and tourism.
