Mother Nature Finally on MNR Side

The Ministry of Natural Resources is reporting another successful day on the fire lines Wednesday.
Two small fires did spark up, but crews have managed to keep the number of active fires to 96.
The MNR is being aided by rain and cooler temperatures.
However, Information Officer Gabby Rivard says fires could begin to increase again when dry conditions return this weekend.
Rivard figures the MNR has another 3 to 4 weeks of work ahead to ensure that all large fires are put out.
