MPP Not Convinced With ELA Announcement

Kenora-Rainy-River MPP Sarah Campbell isn’t convinced with the latest announcement about the Experimental Lakes Area.
Sarah Campbell says the Memorandum of Understanding really only means that negotiations will continue.
Campbell says she doesn’t know why the provincial government hasn’t made any financial commitments or time frames.
She adds that the MOU doesn’t make guarantee towards the future success of the ELA.
Campbell notes that now it seems like “everybody and anybody is wanting to take credit for the Experimental Lakes Area continuing to operate.”
