NAN Grand Chief Offers Support For Fire Victims

The Nishnawbe-Aski Nation is offering its support to Wunnumin Lake First Nation, following this weeks fatal house fire.
Grand Chief Harvey Yesno says the death of a woman and 2 young girls is causing great grief in the community of just over 600.
Yesno says everyone is in shock and no one expects these events to occur.
Yesno notes NAN is in constant communication with the First Nation and the agency’s that are helping out.
The Ontario Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
