MTO Ready for Winter!!!

The Ministry of Transportation is ready for Northwestern Ontario’s harshest weather conditions.
The MTO has been preparing for winter since the end of September and is now fully equipped across the region.
Regional Director Larry Lambert says they have their winter maintenance equipment in place, including spreaders, and combination plow/spreader units.
Lambert says across the Northwest 115 plows and spreaders are ready to roll.
The MTO’s radio room is now operating on winter mode 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
