The Nishnawbe Aski Nation is looking ahead to the future of education for First Nations youth.
They have released a report focusing on what improvements need to be made to the current learning system.
Deputy Grand Chief Goyce Kakegamic says there are a number of back up services that are needed including special education.
Kakegamic notes several remote First Nations are faced with little or no resources or support.
He adds they need to improve existing schools.
