National Non-Smoking Week

The Youth Action Alliance of Northwestern Ontario is marking National Non-Smoking Week by educating the public about the dangers of second hand smoke.
Dryden member Roberta Lappage says they have made significant headway in recent years about promoting the right to breath air not polluted by tobacco.
Lappage says they are using this week to urge youth not to start smoking and to help individuals kick the habit.
The YAA Dryden branch held a black angels event at DHS on the weekend and 37-black snow angels were created to represent the 37-Ontarians who die each day to tobacco-related illness.
