Natural Resources Minister Planning To Re-Introduce Invasive Species Act

Minister of Natural Resources Bill Mauro says his government plans to re-introduce the Invasive Species Act.
The previous minister introduced it last year but the June provincial election derailed it.
Mauro says it’s an important piece of legislation.
Mauro says the legislation will provide better tools for enforcement.
He adds invasive species can have a significant effect on our economy, our recreation and our fisheries.
The fall session of the Ontario Legislature resumes on October 20th.
