The Liberal government has released their newest budget.
Some of the things announced include Extra EI benefits for parental leave and equal pay for all federally regulated employees.
Kenora MP Bob Nault says there were some highlights that will have a huge positive impact on the Kenora riding.
“For sure the 5 billion dollars extra over the next five years for first nations health, first nations water and for first nations child care and first nations housing. Those will have huge impacts.”
Nault adds another big one to benefit the Kenora riding is the extension of the Mineral Exploration Tax Credit for an additional year.
