NCC Preserving Caribou Island

The Nature Conservancy of Canada wants to preserve a portion of Caribou Island, 32 kilometres east of Thunder Bay.
The organization has acquired approximately 160 acres, and will celebrate this conservation achievement on Lambert Island, Wednesday.
Environment Canada has contributed $275,000 to the conservation of Caribou Island.
