The NDP is an official party again.
Last weeks Hamilton-East by-election win moved them to 8 seats, the minimum required for official party status at Queen’s Park.
That means the New Democrats can now draw on $1.3 million in Government funding which Hampton says should push the NDP budget past the $2 million mark.
The Kenora-Rainy River MPP says they were working on a limited budget of $700,000 before last week.
Hampton says they will be hiring more staff who will help voice the concerns of Northwestern Ontario residents at Queen’s Park.
