NDP Mines Critic Skeptical About ROF Plan

Mixed feelings about the Liberal’s announcement regarding the Ring of Fire.
NDP Northern Development and Mines Critic Michael Mantha says it was only recently where the government was handed a lawsuit by a mining company that was fed up with the way the government was handling the Ring of Fire.
Mantha adds while he hopes that the Liberals are true to their word, he says there is a lot to consider such as the infrastructure, the electricity and making sure that all stakeholders are there with the same vision.
If this project is put on the back burner, Mantha says that it will mean job and revenue losses for Ontario.
Mantha’s big question is why it took 7-years for the government to realize that a plan was needed for the Ring of Fire.
