New Beds for Long-Term Care Homes

The Provincial Government is creating 10-new interim beds for Long-Term
Care Homes in the Kenora and Rainy River District.
The additional beds are intended to get people out of Hospitals after
their need for acute care is over, taking some of the pressure off Hospital
staff.
Yesterday, Long-Term Care facilities in this Region received $482,000 to help pay for new patient lifts.
