New Burning Permits Needed In Sioux Lookout Area

Open-air burning permits in the Sioux Lookout area expire soon.
That’s why Fire Chief Rob Favot is encouraging anyone who wants to burn brush or grass from April 1st-March 31st to pick up their new permit.
If you don’t have a permit and conduct open-air burning, it’s a $105 fine.
Permits are $10 and can be purchased at the Sioux Lookout Fire Hall Monday-Friday from 8am till noon, the Municipal Office Monday-Friday from 8am till 4pm or the Hudson Fire Hall on Tuesday evenings from 7pm till 9pm.
