New Contract for Nurses

The Ontario Nurses Association says 91-per cent of its members have ratified a new 3-year collective agreement.
The O-N-A says the agreement with the Ontario Hospital Association comes into effect April 1st, and affects about 40-thousand registered nurses.
Among other things, the new contract provides various wage increases for the nurses, retroactive to April 2nd, 2001.
