OPP officers in Dryden won’t be moving into a new Detachment anytime soon.
Last February, the Province announced plans to construct a new 13,000 square foot facility this summer.
However, OPP Spokesperson Shelly Garr says the project is now on hold.
The Province and Ontario Reality Corporation have been unable to find a suitable location after reviewing numerous sites.
Garr says replacing the aging Detachment on Highway 17 remains a priority, but no new time-lines have been identified.
