New Recruits Expected to Help Fire Service

Staff levels at Dryden Fire Hall 2 are at dangerously low levels.
That’s according to Dryden Deputy Fire Chief Ken Kurz.
Kurz says two new firefighters are joining Hall 2, bringing the total up to 16.
He notes 20 is their magic number.
Meantime, Kurz says they are also welcoming 11-new recruits. (10-men and 1-woman)
He says a 6-month training session will begin in January.
Kurz says that will include 75-hours of classroom training.
Once their training is completed, the successful recruits will be split between the two Halls.
