An expanded role for Kenora MP Bob Nault.
Nault has been elected chair of an organization called ParlAmericas.
The group represents democratic nations in North, Central and South America.
He was named to the position at a conference this week in Victoria, B.C.
He has been the vice-chair of the ParlAmericas since 2016.
Nault also chairs the federal government’s Foreign Affairs committee.
