NextBridge is playing the waiting game right now whether or not it will be allowed to construct a transmission line from Wawa to Thunder Bay.
The Ontario Energy Board is still reviewing a competing Hydro One bid.
Company spokesperson Jennifer Tidmarsh says several area First Nation leaders have supported the NextBridge project.
Tidmarsh is anticipating a final decision in the next couple of weeks.
