No Committment from Finance Minister

It was the same old story Monday for local leaders pressing the
Government to introduce a regional energy pricing plan for the forest
sector.
Dryden Mayor Anne Krassilowsky and others met with Finance Minister Greg
Sorbara in Thunder Bay for pre-budget consultations.
However, the $45 all-in electricity rate dominated discussions
with Sorbara unable to give a firm date on an announcment.
Sorbara advised the group a decision would not be made before the
municipal election and stressed consultations are on-going.
