No More Winter Tourism Guide

The Sunset Country Travel Association won’t be publishing a Winter Visitor’s guide this year.
Executive Director Gerry Cariou says in recent years they’ve seen a significant drop-off in the amount of winter tourism in the Region and its become to costly to distribute the guide.
Cariou believes it’s due to the high cost of 1 day and weekly snowmobile trail permits.
He notes they will continue to advertise winter tourism activities on their website and in their annual publication.
