Northwestern Ontario has its first reported case of West Nile Virus.
A crow carrying the virus has been confirmed in the Thunder Bay area.
In this Region, the Northwestern Health Unit is reporting quiet times, according to Health Inspector Al Mathers.
Mathers says 50 dead birds have been sent to Guelph for analysis, with all results coming back negative.
Mathers says heightend education and mosquito trapping have played a role in controling West Nile.
