NOMA Gears Up For Energy East Presentation

The Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association is planning to work with a number of other agencies as it seeks intervener status on the Energy East pipeline.
President of NOMA Dave Canfield says it just makes sense to team up for the National Energy Board Hearings.
Canfield believes the more groups they have involved in their Energy East presentation, the more money they will be able to access to prepare their arguments.
He adds they have already talked to the Northern Ontario Federation of Municipalities and could include the Northwestern Ontario Associated Chambers of Commerce to collaborate on their presentation on Energy East.
