Northern MP Proposing Infrastructure Fund

Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP John Rafferty is proposing some infrastructure help for small communities.
Rafferty plans to bring forward a motion in the House of Commons calling for a program specific to communities whose population base is 10,000 or less.
The NDP member says the motion will mirror an infrastructure proposal he wants for Royal Canadian Legions.
Rafferty is hoping something can be put in place for next year’s federal budget.
