Resolute Planning Big Announcement For Atikokan

Today could be a big day for the community of Atikokan.
Resolute Forest Products President Richard Garneau will be in the community to make a major announcement.
Mayor Dennis Brown says in an email the announcement will result in jobs and industry for Atikokan.
The nature of the announcement has not been disclosed, but there’s speculation in the community that Resolute plans to construct a new sawmill on the site of the former Buchanan owned mill at nearby Sapawe.
