Northern Ontario Party Focusing On Mining Sector

The Northern Ontario Party has its eye on improving the mining industry. Leader Trevor Holliday says the sector will be a main plank in the next provincial election for his party. Holliday says the northern Ontario mining industry is being built and controlled in downtown Toronto and now the sector is being outsourced to other places. Holliday stresses the Mining Act needs to be updated, modernized and heavily enforced to help jobs stay in the region. He stresses the Northern Ontario Party will also concentrate on moving the Ring of Fire forward.
