The Institute, with the help of two other northern think tanks, has assembled a collection of government survey data for anyone to use.
President Charles Cirtwill says the website contains information on income, education, dwelling characteristics, age and various other categories.
Anyone can also find out whether things like population growth or income levels have improved over time.
