It was a day of upsets across northwestern Ontario in Monday’s election.
Natural Resources Minister Greg Rickford ended up third in the Kenora riding with 28.5% support.
John Rafferty of the NDP fell in Thunder Bay-Rainy River, as Liberal Don Rusnak wrestled away his spot in Parliament.
Green incumbent Bruce Hyer struggled, finishing fourth in Thunder Bay-Superior North.
He will be replaced by Liberal Patty Hajdo.

2. Howard Hampton (NDP) 10,379 or 33.8%
3. Greg Rickford (Conservative) 8,760 or 28.5%

5. Kelvin Chicago-Boucher (Independent) 162 or 0.5%
