Not Guilty

A Sioux Lookout man has been found not guilty of breaking a controversial Town bylaw.
Douglas Lee was charged in August with violating the Municipalities smoke-free rules after an Enforcement Officer visited the Fifth Avenue Bar and Grill.
However, Sioux Lookout Court dismissed the case after determining the proper procedures were not taken and there was no evidence proving that Lee was the Owner of the Establishment.
Earlier this year, the Owner of the Sioux Hotel was found guilty on the same charge.
